SUPERVISION AND CONSULTATION | SUMMIT COUNTY, COLORADOClinical supervision for therapists who are ready to do this right.
Individual supervision and consultation for LCSWs, LPCs, LACs, and EMDR certification in Colorado and Mississippi.
Getting licensed takes time.
Getting licensed with a supervisor who actually knows what they are doing takes intention.
If you are working toward your LCSW, LPC, or LAC, or working through EMDR certification and looking for a consultant who uses EMDR in their actual practice every week, this might be the right fit.
Supervision here is direct and practical. We work with your real cases, your real questions, and the moments where you were not sure what to do next. Not theoretical conversations that never quite connect back to what is happening in your sessions.
I offer individual supervision and consultation for clinicians working toward the following:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado and Mississippi
Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado
Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado
EMDR Certification through EMDRIA
A little about my background:
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado and Mississippi. I am a certified EMDR therapist and currently working toward EMDRIA Approved Consultant status. I have been in private practice in Summit County for several years and have supervised clinicians at various stages of licensure.
I also have a background in wilderness and group facilitation, which means I understand what it means to hold a group or a case under pressure and stay regulated while doing it. That shows up in supervision the same way it shows up in my clinical work.
What supervision looks like with me:
Supervision is built around what you are actually encountering in your clinical work, not a structured curriculum you work through in sequence. When we meet, I want to hear about the cases that are sitting with you. The client whose presentation does not quite fit a clean conceptualization. The session where the processing went somewhere unexpected and you are still turning it over. The moment where you made a clinical decision and are not entirely sure it was the right one.
That kind of specificity is where good supervision lives. I give direct, concrete feedback because I think that is what actually helps clinicians develop. We talk through what happened, what the options were, what I would have done and why, and what you might consider doing differently going forward. I am not interested in supervision that stays at the level of general frameworks without ever connecting back to the person sitting across from you on a Tuesday afternoon.
For clinicians working toward EMDR certification, I bring a particular depth to this work. EMDR is not a side offering in my practice. It is central to how I work with clients every week, and I am currently working toward becoming an EMDR Approved Consultant. The consultation I provide reflects that. We can get into case conceptualization, protocol selection, what to do when something unexpected surfaces during processing, and how to stay grounded when your client is not. I have had those sessions. I know what they feel like from the inside.
What I am looking for in a supervisee is genuine investment in the work. Clinicians who are curious about their cases, willing to sit with uncertainty, and interested in developing their clinical judgment rather than simply logging hours. If that describes where you are in your career, I think we would work well together.

Individual supervision sessions are $175 per session. If you are interested in a W-2 position, supervision is included as part of your employment benefits at no additional cost.
-
The W-2 position is for clinicians who want to provide in-person therapy services in Summit County and need both supervision and the ability to bill insurance. As a W-2 employee, you bill insurance companies as a rendering provider under my existing contracts, which significantly expands the client base available to you compared to private pay only.
What is included for W-2 employees: ability to bill major insurance companies as a rendering provider, in-person office space in Summit County, malpractice insurance, Electronic Health Record access, marketing and advertising support, supervision toward your LCSW, LPC, LAC, and / or EMDR certification, and access to grants and financial support for additional training including EMDR Basic Training.
This is a meaningful option for clinicians who want to build a caseload in Summit County without carrying all the overhead of private practice while still working toward licensure.

Yes. Supervision for LCSW, LPC, LAC, and EMDR certification can be done remotely for clinicians located in Colorado and Mississippi. The W-2 employment positions are in-person only and based in Summit County.

We work with your real cases. The session that did not go the way you expected, the client you are not sure how to conceptualize, the moment during processing where you were not sure what to do next. Supervision here is direct and practical, not a theoretical overview that never connects back to what is happening in your actual clinical work. If you are working toward EMDR certification specifically, I practice EMDR daily and am currently working toward EMDR Approved Consultant status, so the consultation is grounded in what actually happens in sessions.
